Yesterday, leg 3 of the Figaro Solitaire ended in Northern Brittany FRA after a difficult race influenced by very variable conditions with light unconstant winds and strong currents. The leading trio Anthony Marchand FRA, Gildas Mahé FRA and Alexis Loison FRA finished 8 hours before the bulk of the fleet and moved obviously considerably forward in the overall rankings. Yoann Richomme FRA remains on top 90min ahead of Gildas Mahé. Alexis Loison FRA on rank 3 is 2h 22min back. The final leg to be started on Saturday will decide on the final outcome.
Justine Mettraux SUI was never really in the race and finished on rank 38, two ranks behind the Vendée Globe winner Armel Le Cléac'h FRA .... As 17th in the overall rankings, she remains the best woman. .
