Corona-News - New restrictions, reduced racing activities

The very sweeping Corona restrictions are hitting regatta operations again this spring, and not only in Switzerland. Free sailing remains permitted in this country, but regattas for adults are banned until further notice. However, the Federal Council failed to explain what the difference on the water should be from a health point of view. In various nations, sailing has been declared the most corona-safe sport. Thus, the traditional Easter regattas will be cancelled or postponed next weekend, the good weather is expected to continue. But also internationally, numerous classics have been cancelled or postponed, such as the Opti-Meeting on Lake Garda. Nevertheless, we will keep you informed daily with news from the world of sailing. For example, about the Olympic preparations of our national team, but also about all regattas in countries with more differentiated corona measures.
