470, RS:X-Windsurfer - Portugal Grand Prix - Round 2 - Vilamoura POR - Day 2

Light winds on the 2nd day of the Portugal Grand Prix as well and all classes could sail 2 races each. ----- In the 470 men, the favorites advanced: New leaders are Jordi Xammar/Nicolas Rodriguez ESP, 3 points ahead of Balasz and Zsombor Gyapjas HUN in 2nd. On rank 3 follow Diego and Pedro Costa POR. Thanks to a 6th race rank, Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart moved up to 16th, Yves Mermod/Cyril Schüpbach SUI are now 18th. ----- In the 470 women, Carmen and Emma Cowles USA took the lead, with Camille Lecointre/ Aloise Retornaz FRA tied for 2nd. Wanser/Winkel GER are only one point behind in 3rd place. ----- In the 470 mixed, Nitai Hasson/Saar Tamir ISR remain on top, extending their lead on the tied Vita Heathcote/Ryan Orr GBR and Louisa Nordstrom/Trevor Bornarth USA (Oyster Bay 470 Team) to 5 points. ----- the RS:X windsurfers, Piotr Myszka POL continued to show his superiority with 1st and 2nd places. His lead over Angel Grande ESP is now already 8 points. ----- Katy Spychakov ISR moved up to the top of the female windsurfers with 2 day wins.
