An out-of-line year is coming to an end. Instead of an entertaining full regatta program with the 2020 Olympics in summer, the Vendée Globe, and the America's Cup World Series, the worldwide regatta sport was and - with the second lockdown of the year - still is suffering many cancellations. Most of the traditional Christmas regattas (Laser Europacup Hvar CRO, Régate de Noël des Stars Nice FRA, Palamos Christmas Race) have been canceled. Fortunately, the Vendée Globe, which has been very animated so far, is attracting a lot of interest from the public worldwide. Our visitor numbers have risen again to a pre-Corona level.
