Moth, Waszp, var. classes - Foiling Week - Malcesine ITA - Day 1

The Foiling Week on Lake Garda was kicked-off yesterday with the first races of the Moths. After two races in the morning Northwind, the third race was held in a light, slackening Ora breeze in the afternoon. ----- For the WASZP however, the wind was gone. ----- Leader in the Moths interim rankings after three races is Maximilian Mäge GER 7 points ahead of Diego Botin ESP. On rank 3 follows Thomas Huber GER. In addition, the 49er top-sailor Botin ESP, some more known names from the Olympic circuit participate: Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA (Laser) follows as 10th, Joan Cardona ESP (Finn) is 14th, Ruggero Tita ITA (Nacra 17) occupies place 26 among the 44 participants. -----The ranking list and the event facebook page.
