2020 Sail Melbourne was concluded this morning UTC. ----- In the Finns, the Australia Olympic Team member Jake Lilley AUS was the superior winner ahead of Nils Theuninck SUI, advancing on rank 2 as best of the day (ranks 1/3). ----- In the Lasers Radial, the U19 junior Stefan Elliott AUS finished first ahead of the tied Olympic Champion Marit Bouwmeester NED on 2nd and Michael Crompton AUS (U19) on 3rd. Maud Jayet SUI finished the series on rank 36. Sailing in the Silverfleet, Rosine Baudet SUI was 28th (= 71st overall). ----- No change on the podium of the Lasers Standard. Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA remained on rank 1 ahead of Matthew Wearn AUS and Luke Elliott AUS. Eliot Merceron SUI had his best day (5/10) and advanced on rank 13. Nicolas Rolaz SUI finished the series on the 48th place among the 70 participants. ----- Winners in the Olympic windsurfers are Tom Squires GBR in the Men and Noy Drihan ISR in the Women. ----- Mike Holt/Rob Woelfel USA grasped the Australian Champions title in the 5o5s. ----- All results and the news.
