The Lake Garda Foiling Week, an event having been organised for some years now, was held over the past weekend with five Classes present. ----- In the largest fleet, the Moths with 83 participants, Francesco Bruni ITA finished first ahead of Carlo De Paoli ITA and Dave Kenefick IRL. The best Swiss was David Hollenweg SUI on rank 19. ----- In the Open-rankings, Ernst-Michael Miller GER on an iFly was first. In the Easy-to-Fly (a 3-person foiler), Jean-Christoph Mourniac FRA and his team were on top. Maxime and Jérémy Bachelin SUI won in the Flying Phantoms ahead of the Vendée-Globe-winner François Gabart FRA on 2nd and Alex Schneiter/Gurvan Bontemps SUI on 3rd. ----- A Norvegian trio was on top of the remarkable WASZP fleet, tuning up for the European Championship to be held at the same venue as for tomorrow, with Alexander Hogheim NOR, Nicolai Jacobson NOR and Erik Karlsen NOR. ----- All ranking lists and the event website.
