Finn - European Championship 2019 - Athens GRE - Day 2, Nils Theuninck SUI

Winning two of the three races, the Olympic Champion Giles Scott GBR has taken the lead in the overall rankings of the Finn European Championship. After the windless opening day, a 10-15kn breeze enjoyed the 84 participants in Athens GRE yesterday. Andy Maloney NZL followed on rank 2, the World Champion Beresz Zsombor HUN is on 3rd. Nils Theuninck SUI on rank 15 and 2nd of the U23 rankings had a satisfactory first day. However, as 6th non-qualified nation for the 2020 Olympics so far, he will have to fight for one of the four berths for Tokyo based on the Finn selection rules.
