Kite Boarding - Freestyle Worldcup - Mondial du Vent - Leucate FRA - Final results

Carlos Maria BRA dethroned the leading Maxim Chabloz SUI in a nail biting final with the last jump. After the Youth Worlds title last year, the young Swiss (age 18) has now become a solid top-rank contender in the Worldcup circuit. Not only on 'liquid' water but also on 'frozen stuff', Chabloz, Ski Freeride World Champion 2018, is on top (here a short video). On rank 3 followed Valentin Rodriguez COL.
In the women, Francesca Bagnoli ITA had the upper hand on the favorite Mikaili Sol BRA. Bronze went to Claudia Leon ESP.
Much wind (up to 40kn) and big breakers made the Freestyle Kitefoiling Worldcup in Leucate FRA spectacular.
