Yves Le Blevec FRA crossed the Equator yesterday after 8 days and 19 hours. The innertropical convergence zone caused only a minor slowdown, and the southern trade winds already accelerated his Maxi-Trimaran 'Actual'. With 534nm in 24hrs, he reached his 24 hours' best.
