470 - World Championship 2017 - Thessaloniki GRE - Day 3 - the Swiss, excellent Fahrni/Siegenthaler TYC

Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI won the first two Final Races of the 470 women yesterday and as team of the day, they really controlled racing tactically. After a flopped first start, they came back strongly playing the shifts, while in the second race, they were leading from start to finish. Now up on rank 5 overall with a 15 points' backlog on race one, their chances to win the title are real, especially if the wind conditions remain.
In the 470 men, Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI finished on the ranks 1 and 3 in the Silverfleet and are herewith on rank 2 (= rank 38 overall).
