29er, 420, ILCA, Europe - Young Europeans Sailing - Kiel GER - Day 1

There were light winds at the start of the YES in the Bay of Kiel. The fleets at this ‘Kiel Week of the Junior Classes’ are well filled again this year. Sailing in two halves, the 420s were able to finish one race, with the race wins going to Esther Rodenhausen/Luisa Becker GER and Vincenzo Reuter/Chiara Albani GER. Nino-Livio Löfteröd/Samuel Berther SUI finished 4th in their group. The 29er finished two races, Emmeli Grankov/Sophie Anderson DEN took the lead with 2 race wins. In the ILCA 4 Johanna Kugel GER won all 3 races in her group, Tristan Schnitzer SUI is a good 4th. All further rankings and the Facebook page with videos and pictures.
