IMOCA Open 60 - The Ocean Race - Leg 3 - Day 25

The speed race towards Cape Horn continued yesterday. Conditions are still good with 25 knots of aft breeze, but the fleet, which is still sailing close together, continues to head north away from the direct route to the Cape. Holcim-PRB (Kevin Esoffier FRA) continues to lead this morning by 2.2 miles over Malizia (Boris Herrmann GER), with Biotherm (Paul Meilhat FRA) 7 miles behind in third. 11th hour racing (Charlie Enright USA/Justine Mettraux SUI) has lost a few miles by taking the most southerly route, currently 23 miles behind this morning.
