The Swiss had a rather difficult time with the fresh, offshore mistral on the opening day of the Olympic Week. ----- In the ILCA 6, Maud Jayet SUI in 22nd and Anja Von Allmen SUI in 29th are ranked in the first half of the fleet and thus on course for the goldfleet. ----- In the ILCA 7, Gauthier Verhulst SUI is ranked 100th. ----- In the Mixed 470, Yves Mermod/Maja Siegenthaler SUI are 17th. ----- In the 49er, Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI are 34th. In the iQ-Foil men, Matteo Benz SUI and Sebastian Schärer SUI are ranked 22nd and 24th out of the 56 competitors.
