With a 307 mile lead, the Ultime trimaran 'Edmond de Rothschild' with Franck Cammas/Charles Caudrelier FRA crossed the Equator in first yesterday. 'Banque Populaire' (Armel Le Cléac'h/Kevin Escoffier FRA) and 'SVR Lazartigues' (François Gabart/Tom Laperche FRA) are the first pursuers. ----- The top of the OceanFifty trimarans is in the middle of the Doldrums this morning. Leaders Sébastien Rogues/Mathieu Souben FRA have lost some of their advantage but are still 78 miles ahead of Erwan Le Roux/Xavier Macaire FRA. ----- The monohulls continue to struggle with the exceptionally flat conditions in the North Atlantic. 'LinkedOut' with Thomas Ruyant/Morgan Lagravire FRA will reach the Doldrums today. Their lead this morning UTC was 38 miles. 'Charal' (Jérémy Beyou FRA/Christopher Pratt GBR) and 'Apivia' with Charlie Dalin/PaulMeilhat FRA are the first pursuers. ----- The Class 40 is on its way along the coast of Africa towards Cape Verde.
