IMOCA Open 60, Class 40, Ultime, Ocean50 - Transat Jacques Vabre - Day 3

After three light wind days, the trimarans at the front of the fleet now hit fresher winds accelerating to over 20kts as they rounded Cape Finisterre on the north-western tip of Spain yesterday. ----- 'Edmond de Rothschild' with Franck Cammas/Charles Caudrelier FRA lead the Ultime fleet by 17 miles ahead of 'Sodebo' with Thomas Coville/Thomas Rouxel FRA. ----- Erwan Le Roux/Xavier Macaire FRA lead the Ocean Fifty fleet by 17 miles. ----- The first Open 60 to reach Cape Finisterre this morning was 'Apivia' with Charlie Dalin/Paul Meilhat FRA. They extended their lead over 'LinkedOut' with Thomas Ruyant/Morgan Lagravière FRA to 44miles. ----- The Class 40 are still sailing in light winds in the middle of the Bay of Biscay.
