IMOCA Open 60, VOR65 - The Ocean Race Europe - Genoa ITA - Final results

Yesterday's coastal race in Genoa brought the final decisions in the Ocean Race Europe: ----- In the VOZ65 fleet, 'Mirpuri' with Yoann Richomme FRA pulled away right from the start clearly securing the overall victory having won the 2nd and 3rd legs before. ----- The IMOCA Open 60 race remained exciting right up to the finish line: '11th hour racing' with Charlie Enright USA and Justine Mettraux SUI won the coastal race and moved up to 2nd place. 'Offshore Team Germany' with Robert Stanjek GER finished just ahead of 'LinkedOut' with Thomas Ruyant FRA and thus ensured the surprise victory for the Germans, the only ones to start with a non-foiling Open 60. ----- The final report.
