IMOCA Open 60, VOR65 - The Ocean Race Europe - Alicante ESP - Leg 2 - Final results

After the VOR65, the 5 Open 60 finished their second leg yesterday as well. Thomas Ruyant FRA and his 'LinkedOut' team (Morgan Lagravière, Clarisse Cremer, Quentin Ponroy, Laurent Bourguès FRA) took the win, 17 minutes ahead of 'Offshore Team Germany' with Robert Stanjek GER. Only 7 minutes later, the '11th hour Racing Team' with Charlie Enright USA and Justine Mettraux SUI moved up to third place. In the overall rankings after two legs, 3 teams are now tied: 'LinkedOut' (Thomas Ruyant FRA), 'Offshore Team Germany' (Robert Stanjek GER) and '11th hour Racing' (Charlie Enright USA). ----- In the VOR65, 'Mirpuri' (Yoann Richomme FRA) and 'AkzoNobel' (Chris Nicholson AUS) are tied at the top, with 'Sailing Poland' with Bouwe Bekking NED just one point behind. ----- The rankings and the reports. ----- Next Sunday will see the start of the final leg to Genoa (we will be broadcasting live again), where another coastal race is on the agenda, which could still be decisive in view of the small point gaps.
