IMOCA Open 60, VOR65 - The Ocean Race Europe - Leg 1 - Final results

Calm winds before the finish made for a furious finale to the first leg of the Ocean Race Europe yesterday. The field was pushed close together, within just 15 minutes all 12 teams reached the finish. Nicolas Troussel/Sébastien Josse/Marie Riou/Benjamin Schwartz FRA crossed the finish line first with their Open 60 'Corum'. Just 45 seconds later, the 'Austrian Ocean Project' with Gerwin Jansen NED as winner of the VOR65 caused a small surprise. In 5th place as 2nd Open 60 '11th hour racing Team' with Charlie Enright USA and Justine Mettraux SUI crossed the finish line.
