Star - European Championship 2021 - Split CRO - Day 3 - Title for Chieffi/Colaninno ITA

On the 3rd day of the European Star Championship, light winds around 5kn reigned for the first time, apparently to the liking of Enrico Chieffi/Ferdinando Colaninno ITA: With the 1st and 2nd ranks of the day, they secured the title before the final regatta of today. Chieffi was already world champion in Star 25 years ago, and 470 world champion (with his brother) 36 years ago! Hubert Merkelbach/Kilian Weise GER and Augie Diaz USA/Christian Nehammer AUT are tied on points for second and third place.
