Trophée Jules Verne - Day 17 - Sodebo abandons the record attempt due to rudder damage

After a little more than 16 days at sea, the crew of the 'Sodebo Ultim 3' decided yesterday Friday to abandon their record attempt. Underway between the Kerguelens and Cape Leeuwin at over 30 knots, Thomas Coville and his team noticed damage to the starboard rudder.
