After 22 days, Charlie Dalin FRA ('Apivia') will be the first to pass the Cape of Good Hope today. He was able to maintain his lead of 245nm by this morning UTC. The chasing group has closed up with Thomas Ruyant FRA ('LinkedOut') in 2nd place now only 30nm ahead of Kevin Escoffier FRA ('PRB'), and another 20nm behind Jean Le Cam FRA ('Yes we Cam', Non-Foiler) in 4th place. ----- 450nm back follows the Paralympic Champion Damien Séguin ('Groupe Apicil', Non-Foiler) up on rank 9. Behind him, the women's position fight is taking place: Samantha Davis GBR ('Initiatives Coeur') is 12th, only 62nm ahead of Isabelle Joschke FRA/GER ('MACSF'), followed in 17th place by Clarisse Cremer FRA ('Banque Populaire') already more than 350 miles behind Samantha Davis. ----- Handicapped by equipment problems, Alan Roura SUI remained in 18th place, but with a backlog of 250nm, he lost touch with the midfleet group. ----- The race tracker and the reports.
