Class 40 - Défi Atlantique - Leg 1 - Day 4

The 11 Class 40 still in the Transatlantic Race reached the trade winds allowing them to veer East direction port of call Acores. 1'500nm are still left, but with the now pushing rear wind allowing to hoist the big gennaker accelerating to top speeds. No change occurred with the trio Aymerice Chappellier FRA, Kito De Pavant FRA/Alex Pella ESP 31nm behind on 2nd and Miranda Merron FRA/Didier Le Foarc'h FRA another 2nm back on 3rd.
