Olympic Classes Trofeo Princesa Sofia Palma ESP Day 4 the Swiss
The fresher breeze on Palma Bay challenged the Swiss sailors again yesterday, but their performance was remarkable, above all the surprising Nils Theuninck SUI, who is back on rank 3 overall in the Finns with the day ranks 12 and 7. Moving up again was also Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI in the RS:X men windsurfers with the ranks 2 and 4, bringing him on the 7th place overall. Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI remain with the best in the 470 women, actually on rank 5. All three boats are on a good track for tomorrow's Medal Races. As 10th in the 49ers, Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI will have to defend their 10 points' advantage in the three races today to make the cut. Out of the Medal Race qualification are Maud Jayet SUI on rank 20 in the bei den Radials, Eliot Merceron SUI as 32nd in the Laser Standards, Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI as 24th in the 470 men and Livia Naef/Nelia Puhze SUI on rank 42 in the 49ersFX.
