The top performance of the Swiss Team continued on day two in the light winds on Palma Bay.
The lately crowned Finn U23 European Champion Nils Theuninck SUI even took the overall lead in the top-quality Finn fleet with the day ranks 4 and 8 ! Keeping the position on top are also Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI in the 470 women at equal points with Bar-Am/Amir ISR. With the day ranks 2 and 8, Maud Jayet SUI in the Laser Radial was among the best yesterday as well and remains amidst of the World elite on rank 3. Last but not least, Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI stays on rank 3 at equal points with rank 2 in the RS:X men windsurfers. With solid row of top-10 results, Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI are now on 10th overall clearly qualifying for the Goldfleet. Thanks to 6th race rank, Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI moved up on rank 23 in the 470 men. A major step forward did Eliot Merceron SUI thanks to a 2nd race rank in his Group, bringing him on rank 38 among the 180 Lasers Standard. With two premature starts, Livia Naef/Nelia Puhze SUI are now down on rank 47 among the 56 teams in the 49erFX.
