A-Cat - World Championship 2016 - Medemblik NED - Day 1

Yesterday, the A-Cat World Championship started on the Ijssel-Meer in moderate winds around 10 kn, just enough for the new generation A-Cats to foil. Btw, the non-foilers will be ranked separately at the end of the Championship.
Mischa Hemskerk NED lived up to his reputation winning both heats of his group. Steve Brewin AUS and Darren Bundock shared rank 2 with a 2 points' backlog. The best woman Carolijn Brouwer NED follows on rank 10 in her first important A-Cat event. 115 participants from 16 nations.
