IMOCA Open 60, Class 40, Multi 50, Ultime - The Transat - New York USA - Day 13

Two more classes, the Open 60 with Armel Le Cléac'h FRA as winner, and the Multi-50 trimarans with Gilles Lamiré FRA as first, finished the Transat yesterday. Le Cléac'h FRA celebrating his first important race win showed full satisfaction with this new Open 60, daggerboards equipped with foils. But with a backlog of 2 hrs 20 min, Vincent Riou FRA on a conventional Open 60 finished not far behind. Gilles Lamiré FRA has been leading in the Multi-50 with a substantial advantage since the middle of the race and his first challenger Lalou Roucayrol FRA will arrive in New York in the night on tomorrow only. In the Class 40, the leader Thibaut Vauchel FRA has now an 18 miles' advantage on Phil Sharp GBR.
