Pirat, Yardstick - Spring-Regatta - SC am Pfäffikersee

There were 4 races for the Pirates and 3 races for the small Yardstick fleet at the wintry spring regatta at the weekend. Barbara and Eliane Widmer YCB won the Pirate race ahead of Flurina and Valerie Schneider SCP, who were tied on points. In the Yardstick classification, Jörg Klausen SCSG with his H yawl and Norbert Jenny with his Finn were tied at the top. All rankings.

Olympic Classes - Semaine Olympic Française - Hyères FRA - Day 1

 Olympic Classes - Semaine Olympic Française - Hyères FRA - Day 1 The participants who have already qualified for the Olympics are sailing the Semaine Olympique, with the Formula Kites and iQ Foil windsurfers being the first to compete yesterday. ----- Max Maeder SGP once again dominated the Formula Kite with 3 race wins in 5 races, followed by Toni Vodisek SLO in 2nd place, 3 points behind. ----- Lauriane Nolot FRA also had three race wins in the Kite Foil Women. Ellie Aldridge GBR follows in 2nd place, tied on points. ----- In the iQ Foil Windsurfing Men, Grae Morris AUS and Tom Reuveny ISR share the lead, with Nicolas Goyard FRA one point behind. Elia Colombo SUI also got off to a good start in 9th place out of the 35 participants. ----- Zheng Yan CHN took the lead in the women's race, followed one point behind by Mariana Aguilar MEX. ----- All rankings and the daily report.

 Optimist - Punktemeisterschaft 2024 - Thunersee YC The wintry weather yesterday brought good conditions on Lake Thun, and another 3 races were completed. ----- Edward Hirsch SNG won ahead of Maxime Vallotton CVVT and Alec Detrey CVVT tied on points. Just behind them were Cyril Burmeister CNP and the first girl Lou Eisenhut RCO. 106 Optis were competing. ----- The ranking list and the Facebook page with the pictures.

 Swiss Sailing Challenge League - Act 1 - YC Ascona After the good conditions on Saturday with 5 sailed flights, the 14 teams of the Challenge League (2nd league) had to wait for wind yesterday morning, but 2 rounds could still be sailed. ----- CV Estavayer with Tom Studer came out on top ahead of YC CERN from Geneva with Elia Borego. Optimist, ILCA, blu26, Yardstick - Regatta di Primavera - CV Lago di Lugano

The spring regatta on Lake Lugano came to an end yesterday with two more races. Andrea Vitali CVLL, freshly qualified for the European Championships, won the Optimist clearly ahead of Giorgio Bolgiani CVLL. Andrea Avitabile CVLL won the ILCA 4, while Linus Coupek CVLL took the lead in the ILCA 6 with two race wins. All other rankings.

29er, 49er, 49erFX, i14 - Annual Championship 2024 - YC Ascona

22 teams took part in the first round of the annual championship of the 29ers on Lake Maggiore. After 3 races, Ikke Huber/Liam Berger TYC won with a one-point lead over Malena Rüegge/Liv Wicki SVKr. 22 teams were at the start. The 49er and 49erFX sailed in one classification, with Giona Renggli/Sandro Mani YCAs winning with their 49er ahead of Livia Naef/Miriam Abegglen YCA on a 49erFX. Markus Ostermair/Moritz Wiskemann GER won the i14 (14-footer). All rankings.

 Optimist - Easter Regatta - Portoroz SLO - Swiss selection The Easter Regatta in Portoroz ended on Sunday, as we reported yesterday. This also means that the Swiss World and European Championship selection is complete: Eivinn Löfteröd, Tenma Rösti, Lewin Liatard, Edward Hirsch and Lena Müller will represent Switzerland at the World Championships. ----- Here is the provisional selection ranking.

 Drachen, 5.5m, Yngling - Oster-Regatta - Thunersee YC A lull on Good Friday, but yesterday, it was at least enough for one race: Jürg Menzi/Lionel Rupp/Christoph Wilke TYC took victory in the 5.5m, Peter Kurz/Andreas Honegger/Bernhard Zaugg TYC won the Dragon and Thomas Kristiansen/Marc Bornand/Sandra Schär SCRG were ahead in the Yngling, the largest fleet with 14 teams. ----- All rankings and the Facebook page with a report and pictures.
