IMOCA Open 60 - Retour à La Base - Martinique-Lorient FRA - Start today

This afternoon sees the start of the 'Retour à la base' in Martinique, a first major solo performance test a year before the start of the Vendée Globe. 11 of the 32 solo skippers must complete a single-handed transat for the Vendée qualification, and the 13 new designs are also obliged to take part in a race test in accordance with the regulations.
