With moderate winds at first, later increasing, more than 200 teams started the long distance classic on Lake Geneva. The foiling TF35 catamarans pulled away in front: 'Ylliam 12 Comptoir Immobilier' with Bertrand Demole SUI (with Billy Besson FRA) crossed the finish line as winner after 4 hrs 38 min, followed 2 minutes later by the newly formed 'Ylliam 7' with Julien Firmenich SUI and his VIP team with among others Torvar Mirsky AUS, Jason Saunders NZL or Thomas Zajac AUT. ----- Best non-foiler was the D35 catamaran 'w-team' with Christian Wahl SNG in 6th place. ----- Victor Casas CNV was the first M2 cat to reach the finish line in 8th place. ----- Best monohull was Jean Psarofaghis SNG with his Psaros 40 in 14th place. ----- The ranking. The sport catamarans sailed in their own category, won by Frédéric Mottier/Patrick Hausermann CVMC with their Nacra F20 Carbon - the ranking.
