Mini 650 - Mini-Fastnet - Douarnenez FRA - Day 3

The flat winds in the Irish Sea have pushed the fleet of 86 Minis closer together. A stormy low forecast for Saturday has prompted the race committee to shorten the course by around 100 miles to ensure the fleet reaches the finish line in time for Friday. The leaders are working to round the new virtual course mark this morning. In the large fleet of Series Minis, Quiviger/Abgrall FRA and Berger/Solbach FRA are tied for the lead, with Faes/Chauvin SUI 1.2 miles behind in third. The Protos field is led by Cochet/Machado FRA.
