The favourites, who had taken a westerly route to cross the flat transition zone yesterday, were the first to reach fresh winds and accelerated to around 30kn. Charlie Dalin FRA (Apivia) has moved up to second place, Jérémy Beyou FRA (Charal) and Thomas Ruyant (LinkedOut) follow in fourth and fifth. The outsiders with their old Open 60 without foils are amazing. They are still holding their own with their northern route and are again benefiting from fresher winds this morning. Benjamin Ferré FRA leads by 12 miles over Charlie Dalin FRA, followed in 3rd place by adventurer Guirec Soudée FRA, who rowed across the Atlantic last year.
