IMOCA Open 60 Vendee Globe Day 21
After three race weeks, the bulk of the fleet has bypassed the St-Helena anticyclone calms and is now in the approach to the Cape of Good Hope. Leading by 281nm this Sunday morning UTC, Charlie Dalin FRA ('Apivia', Foiler) will leave the Atlantic and enter the Indian Ocean tomorrow Monday. Thomas Ruyant FRA ('LinkedOut', Foiler) continues to follow in 2nd place, with Kevin Escoffier FRA ('PRB', Foiler) now in 3rd position, as Jean Le Cam FRA ('Yes we Cam', Non-Foiler) could not quite keep the speed of the foilers in the fresh winds.
