iQFoil-Windsurf - European Championship 2020 - Silvaplana SUI - Final results, Colombo SUI excellent 5th

The inaugural European Championship of the 2024 Olympic iQFoils Windsurfers was concluded on Lake Silvaplana SUI yesterday with the Medal Races, sailed in a knock-down format with the best 12 racing. ----- In a close winner-takes-all fight of the best four, decided on the last short leg to the finish line, Kieran Badloe NED - a favorite in the RS:X Windsurfers at the Tokyo Olympics next year - had the upper hand on Sebastian Kördel GER and Nicolas Goyard FRA. Elia Colombo SUI finished excellent 5th, a real promise for Swiss windsurfing in the future. ----- In the women's fleet, Hélène Noesmoen FRA went on with her winning streak in the Final as well, and was the superior first ahead of Islay Watson GBR and Lilian De Geus NED. ----- All ranking lists and the report.
