Etchells - 2020 Newport Regatta - Final Results - Steven Benjamin, Miami FL, winner

Restart sailing at Sail Newport with the Etchells fleet over the past weekend, after a spring and early summer of non-starters, cancellations, and postponement of many sailing events due to COVID-19 concerns. ----- Stephen Benjamin,Miami FL, and his crew ruled the show during most of the competition, finishing first, but closely followed by Jud Smith, Gloucester, MA, only two points behind. Donald Mense, Chicago IL, and his team on rank 3 were another 4 points back. Ten teams participated. ----- The ranking list after seven races, sailed in steady 12-15kn breezes under brilliant skies and the Sail Newport website.
