49er, 49erFX - World Championship 2017 - Matosinhos POR - Day 5, Schneiter/Cujean SUI

Refreshening trade winds provided for big waves and much spectacle to an extent that the 49er could not sail in the afternoon.
The 49ersFX sailed three races and only Jena-Mai Hansen/Katja Salskov DEN remained without capsize. They lead overall 5 points ahead of Alexandra Maloney/Molly Meech NZL. Another 2 points behind are Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA still with chances for the title. As from today, racing will continue with the best 20 teams in the Goldfleet.
The 49ers' leaders are Dylan Fletcher/Stuart Bithell GBR 4 points ahead of Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP, Justus Schmidt/Max Böhme GER and James Peters/Flynn Sterritt GBR all at equal points. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI on rank 16 continue the Championship in the Goldfleet today.
