After the windy start day, classic Palma thermal conditions with moderate winds between 8 and 12 knots prevailed yesterday. All classes were in action. ----- The 470s started late in the afternoon and could only finish one race. No changes at the top: Malte and Anastasyia Winkel GER held on to the lead, with Vita Heathcote/Chris Gruber GBR and Jordi Xammar/Nora Brugman ESP close behind. With a 7th place in the race, Yves Mermod/Maja Siegenthaler SUI improved to 18th place. ----- In the ILCA 7, Michael Beckett GBR took the lead in his group with two race wins. Philipp Buhl GER and Matthew Wearn AUS share 2nd place 4 points behind him. Gauthier Verhulst SUI moved up to 41st place with 8th and 11th ranks on the day. Martin Verhulst SUI is now 109th of the 193 participants. ----- In ILCA 6, Emma Plasschaert BEL maintained her lead. Mara Stransky AUS (2 race wins yesterday), Matilda Nicholls GBR, and Chiara Benini ITA share 2nd place with equal points. Maud Jayet SUI lost a few places and is now 19th. Anja Von Allmen SUI improved to 28th place, and Rosine Baudet SUI is now 47th of the 116 participants. ----- The skiffs were in action for the first time: In the 49ers, Jack Ferguson/Max Paul AUS won 3 of the 4 races in their group and led by one point over Fabian Rieger/Tom Heinrich GER. Lucas Rual/Emile Amoros FRA follow in 3rd place. Sébastien Schneiter/Arno De Planta SUI are 34th. Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI follow in 42nd of the 85 teams. ----- The 49ersFX finished 2 races. Helen Naess/Marie Rönningen NOR won both races of their group, Stephanie Roble/Maggie Shea USA follow 5 points behind, and Vilma Bobeck/Rebecca Netzler are 3rd. ----- In the Nacra 17, Paul Kohlhoff/Alica Stuhlemmer GER took the lead 2 points ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnett GBR. Axel Grandjean/Noëmi Fehlmann SUI and Andrea Aschieri/Anja Camusso SUI follow in 34th and 35th place. ----- In the Kite Foils, Max Maeder SGP won again 3 of the 4 races yesterday, and is 3 points ahead of Riccardo Pianosi ITA. The 15-year-old Karl Maeder SUI did not compete on the start day, but yesterday he improved to 40th place out of 59 participants. ----- Daniela Moroz USA is still in the lead in the women's Kite Foils, ahead of with Briana Whitehead AUS and Leonie Meyer GER. ----- In the iQ Foil Windsurfers, Pawel Tarnowski POL won all 4 races in his group. Tom Reuveny ISR and Nicolo Renna ITA follow in 2nd and 3rd place. Elia Colombo SUI is 31st, Sebastian Schärer SUI follows in 33rd place of the 107 participants. ----- The best female windsurfer is Mina Mobekk NOR, followed by Lola Sorin FRA and Manon Pianazza FRA in 2nd and 3rd place. ----- All rankings and the report.
