49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - European Championship 2023 - Vilamoura POR - Day 2

Light winds dominated the action in Vilamoura again yesterday, with all classes completing a full programme of three races each. Isaac McHardie/William McKenzie NZL took the lead in the 49er with a race win. Keanu Prettner/Jakob Flachberger AUT follow just one point behind, with Benjamin Bildstein/David Husserl AUT in third place. Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärrer SUI remained strong in ninth place. Sébastien Schneiter/Arno De Planta SUI were able to book another race win, but two mediocre finishes dropped them back to 13th place. In the 49erFX Jana Germani/Giorgia Bertuzzi ITA asserted themselves at the top, Tamara Echegoyen/Oaula Barcelo ESP moved up to 2nd place as the best of the day - the report of the 49er.
In the Nacra 17, Gianluigi Ugolini/Maria Giubilai ITA are now 5 points ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnet GBR and Paul Kohlhoff/Alica Stuhlemmer GER, who are equal on points.
