Three additional qualifying races were sailed yesterday again in good sailing conditions. Before the Medal Races scheduled for 13h UTC today, another maximum of 3 qualifying races by class are on the program. ----- Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP convincingly lead the 49ers 35 points ahead of Jonas Warrer/Jakob Precht DEN. Another 20 points behind the Danes are Robert Dickson/Sean Waddilove IRL in third place. The Irish have almost secured the last European Olympic berth. Their last opponents Yannick Lefebre/Tom Pelsmaekers BEL in 9th place are already 25 points behind. ----- In the 49ersFX, Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA are leading with 9 points ahead of Annemiek Bekkering/Annette Duetz NED. Alexandra Maloney/Molly Meech NZL are in third place 14 points behind. In the fight for the last Olympic berth, Isaura Maenhout/Anok Goerts BEL on 8th are now 19 points ahead of Enia Nincevic/Mihaela Zjena CRO in 10th. ----- In the Nacra 17, Tara Pacheco/Florian Trittel ESP have a 14-point lead over Paul Kohlhoff/Alica Stuhlemmer GER. Quentin Delapierre/Manon Audinet FRA follow in third.
