Figaro 3 - Solo Maître Coq - Les Sables d'Olonne FRA - Day 2 - Victory for Nils Palmieri SUI !

The second coastal race of the Solo Maître Coq had to be shortened to 22 miles yesterday when the winds dropped. ----- In very inconsistent winds, Nils Palmieri sailed in the leading group from the start and crossed the finish line as the winner with a 25 second lead over Tom Laperche FRA. This is his biggest success so far in the Figaro Circuit, in which he has been competing since last year. The Swiss moved up to 12th place in the overall standings. Last year's winner Tom Laperche FRA is equal on points with the still leading Alan Roberts GBR on rank 2.
