470, Finn - Lebkuchen-Regatta II - RC Oberhofen - Day 1

Good conditions prevailed yesterday on Lake Thoune for the Lebkuchen (ginger bread) Regatta of the Finns and 470s, and both classes completed 4 races each.
In the 470s, Philipp Erni/STephan Zurfluh SCC took the lead with two race wins, 2 points ahead of Yves Mermod/Cyril Schüpbach TYC on rank 2. Sandra and Corina Giovanoli SCStä on rank 3 are the best women's team in the 21 boats' fleet.
In the Finns, Christoph Christen YCB finished first in all 4 heats. Christoph Burger TYC and Beat Aebischer TYC occupy the ranks 2 and 3. 26 Finn sailors participate in this traditional season closing regatta.
